I was not already familiar with Amy or any of her previous writings, but I decided to go ahead and review the book, anyway - its description at least sounded awesome. Boy, let me tell you! Oftentimes, devotional books are notorious for not being all that deep - for just offering a really quick snippet of a verse, a cute but shallow thought, and a nice prayer at the end.
