It’s time for another installment in the fun Husband of the Blogger LinkUp Series we’ve been doing! If you missed the first 4 parts, you can find those here, here, here, and here.
So far we have covered everything from what our husbands wish we knew on a variety of topics, to their opinion on men’s ministry in the church, the kind of legacy they want us to leave, as well as introductory info about them and what they do. Today, we are going back to our dating days! 🙂
If you want to follow along with my blogger friends who are also doing this monthly series with their husbands, you can find them here:

And, as always, please feel free to participate along with us!
Let’s get started!
WHILE WE WERE DATING
1. In your opinion, what was the most memorable date that we had?
I would have to say any one of the all-day dates that we went on, since we haven’t been on one since we got hitched. We would start the day at a random breakfast place like Waffle House or IHOP, proceed with our afternoon excursion (stopping for lunch at whatever place we find in the middle of our fun), and then finish the day with dinner out and a leisurely drive home.
These were so fun!! Though we would do these all-day dates in town, too, sometimes we would pick a fun little destination on the map that was an hour or two away (far enough to be an adventure, but close enough that we get get there, have fun, and get back before my curfew! 😉 ). We went to the Cumberland Plateau, Murphy, NC, and Helen, GA.
2. What do you remember as the worst date we ever had?
Probably the date where we went hiking and had a big argument in the middle of our hike. Can’t remember what the fight was about, but it made for an awkward walk back to the car.
What’s funny is that I don’t even remember having a fight during a hike! It must have been our all-day date to the Cumberland Plateau and the state park in that area. That date was for our one year dating anniversary, so it’s a shame we had a fight! lol!
3. What is the most special thing about our dating relationship that you are thankful has carried into our marriage?
The fact that we find time to go on a date alone no matter how crazy times may get.
Yes!! So important!
4. What is one thing about our dating relationship that you miss?
The frequency. We don’t have ’em as much as we used to. 😥
haha This is true. But we are still intentional to go out at least once a month, which is nice.
5. If we could go on any kind of date and do anything on that date today, what would it be?
We would have a weekend to ourselves at our honeymoon cabin in Pigeon Forge, TN.
Yes!!! I miss that place so much. That would be awesome!
And now it’s your turn! Go grab your hubby, ask him these questions, and then plan a date night!
