Book Review: “The Big and Little Activity Devotional” by Rachel C. Swanson

I have long been a fan of Rachel C. Swanson’s Big and Little Coloring Devotional, so when I discovered that she had come out with an activity devotional with the same basic concept, I was super excited to check it out! Let me tell you - it did not disappoint! Here is the official description:

Kids crave constant activities and attention. Adults crave quiet moments of refreshment. How can we achieve both? Big and Little Activity Devotional engages minds of all ages with biblical devotions, while providing a creative outlet through coloring and activities to diffuse stress.

We love this fun activity devotional! It is designed such that when you open it up and are sitting across the table from your child, a page will be facing you and a page will be facing your child. On your child’s page will be a Bible verse and a corresponding activity of some sort (i.e. maze, message decoder, picture to color, crossword puzzle, etc.), while on your page will be a full devotional corresponding to that same verse, as well as the same kind of activity, only more advanced.

If you are looking for a fun activity to do with your child to foster your relationship, grow your closeness, and make lasting memories while also feeding each of you spiritually, the Big and Little Activity Devotional is for you! I highly recommend it!

*I received a complementary copy of this activity devotional in exchange for my honest review.
