Book Review: “Talking with Your Kids about Jesus: 30 Conversations Every Christian Parent Must Have” by Natasha Crain

As parents, it can feel incredibly overwhelming to realize we have been tasked with the responsibility of raising our children up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. When we start thinking about all the theological knowledge our children need to have, all the training to be equipped to give an answer for the hope that is within them, all the apologetic evidence for the resurrection, and more, we can quickly begin to feel stretched thin and ill-equipped to teach our children all that we feel they need to know.

Thanks to Natasha Crain’s new book, “Talking to Your Kids About Jesus: 30 Conversations Every Christian Parent Must Have” , parents everywhere can feel far less overwhelmed and far more well-equipped and prepared to teach and train their children in all the areas pertaining to the existence of Christ and the implications of His life, death, and resurrection.

This book is made up of bite-sized chapters divided into sections on “The Identity of Jesus”, “The Teachings of Jesus”, “The Death of Jesus”, “The Resurrection of Jesus”, and “The Difference Jesus Makes”. It truly covers everything and offers apologetic proof all along the way!

This is a wonderful resource for you to sit down with your children and go through one short chapter at a time. Because while each chapter is no more than about 8 pages long, the chapter itself as well as the conversation guides at the end of each one are sure to spark many meaningful conversations between you and your child! I highly recommend it!
