How to Pray without Ceasing

As I shared in a FB live video on blogging tips for beginners, I have been so blessed by the incredible ladies I have met through being a part of FB groups for Christian women who blog. One of those ladies is Tayrina who blogs at the lovely site His Purpose in Me on topics such as prayer, Bible study, Bible journaling, and encouragement for the Christian walk.

I am so incredibly honored to have been given the opportunity to write a guest post for her on the topic of “How to Pray without Ceasing”. I hope it is an encouragement to you!

 

“We have probably all come to 1 Thessalonians 5:17 and wondered what to do with it. I know I have! For those not familiar with the passage, 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says simply that we are to “Pray without ceasing”.

At first glance, this might seem an impossible command to obey. Pray without ceasing? What about my responsibilities as a wife or mother or homemaker or friend? How can I “pray without ceasing” when there are so many other things to do?

I would like to answer these important questions today with two points.”
